Zero Mouse concept by Oliver Rosito

Surfing around the net I found this intersting concept of Mouse named "Zero Concept" designed by Oliver Rosito from Istituto Europeo di Design Madrid.
It is clear the transportation design influence in his approach, it is very attractive and well done the only doubt I have is about the ergonomics because of the empity space on the sides...usually that is the point where we put our thingers to hold securely the mouse!

Giraffe Mechanics by Andrew Chase

Andrew Chase wrote: "This is my second giraffe (I made the first one to use in "Timmy"). I made it out of transmission parts, electrical conduit, and plumbing pipe. All the joints rotate and lock. Turning a removable crank on the Giraffe's side raises the neck. Lifting the tail releases a catch and lowers the neck. It's about 6 feet tall and it took about 80 hours to build."!

Alexandros Stasinoupulos designed and realized this briefcase using a special ceramic material that gives to its creation a very compact high quality perception and also a real functional protection effect. The BRIEFCeramiCASE.

We could say that the quality detail of this design is very close to a concept car design, the blend between semirigid material (the leather) and the rigid one (the ceramic) is well done thanks also to the color choice taste.

"Booklight" by Emiliano Brinci

"Booklight" is a table lamp and a book holder designed by Emiliano Brinci (Rome, Italy) for "Soluzioni di Francesca".

It is a very simple concept that offers a decorative and useful element to have in our home, its style can be combined with modern and classical furniture. "Paper scale" an ultraslim balance

The Duck Image Studio has been the first to design an ultraslim "balance" using the electronic paper technology.
There is an ultracompact pressure sensor inside the main thin platforme and a paper display, thanks to the used materials and technology we can also fold this "balance" which is waterproof, too.
